Arrow Rests

Installation Notes
Discard the white lock washer from the attachment bolt, this is for shipping purposes only.
GEN-II rest adjustments are made using a 3/32 inch hex wrench. Attach rest to bow using supplied 5/16-24 fastener.
DO NOT USE LOC-TITE...All adjustments employ lock screws and will not loosen or move.
All Schaffer GEN-II rests can be converted to fall-away or conventional shoot though with the appropriate parts kit available from your dealer.

Fall-away Setup
Attach loose end of rope to buss cable using serving material.
Rope should be flush with the bottom of bow grip.
Tie in approximately 1 inch of the rope using a series of overhand knots finished with a double overhand knot.
Cut ends of serving material so you have approximately 3/8 inch remaining.
Carefully melt the 3/8 inch ends of serving material into your final knot.
Loosen rope adjustment screw and pull rope tight so all excess rope is above the rest.
Keeping the rope adjustment screw loose, bring the bow to full draw and carefully back to the relaxed position.
Pull the adjustment rope towards the front of the bow approximately 1/2 inch and tighten the rope adjustment screw.
Check to make sure launcher prongs are all the way up 1 inch before bow reaches full draw, adjust as needed to achieve specified results.
Shooting with the odd vane “up” provides maximum clearance.
